Palestinians injured, detained in confrontations with the occupation forces in Jerusalem

Yesterday evening, the Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian young men, identified as Qais Sharha and Naim al-Amouri, from Bab Al-Amoud area in occupied Jerusalem, after the ‘security’ guards of the light rail assaulted them severely, Monday, Oct 11.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that the Israeli police prevented its crews from providing first aid to an injured person in Bab al-Amud.
Volunteer paramedics provided first aid to an injured person who was later detained by the occupation forces. Meanwhile, the occupation forces prevented the Palestinian Red Crescent Society crews from providing first aid to the injured Palestinians, the society said.
Violent confrontations erupted between the occupation forces and the Palestinian young men yesterday evening in the Yusufiya cemetery in Bab Al-Asbat in occupied Jerusalem after a fire broke out in a container belonging to the occupation municipality inside the cemetery.
Furthermore, the occupation forces beat and attacked the Jerusalemites while they were inside the cemetery, and used wastewater to disperse them.
And the occupation forces were heavily deployed in the Yusufiya cemetery in Bab Al-Asbat after the Palestinians set fire to the "container".
Dozens of Jerusalemites participated, yesterday evening, in performing the Maghrib and Isha prayers in the cemetery square, in protest of the occupation municipality's assault on the graves of Muslims there.
The occupation municipality had conducted excavation works in the land of the Yusufiya cemetery in Bab Al-Asbat in occupied Jerusalem, where it exhumated the graves that led to the appearance of the bones of the dead.
