110 Israeli settlers break into al-Aqsa Mosque courtyards

January 20, 2022

Occupied Jerusalem - Israeli Settlers, protected by the occupation forces, have broken into the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque, this morning.

110 Israeli settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its courtyards, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals under the protection of the occupation forces, local sources reported.

Al-Aqsa Mosque has been exposed to settlers’ incursions under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, on morning and evening shifts, in an attempt to change the Islamic status quo, and divide it spatially and temporally.

During the period of incursions, the occupation forces evacuate the eastern area and drive the worshipers and guardians of the Mosque away, to facilitate the settlers’ storming.

The occupation targets Jerusalemites and the Al-Murabitin (Al-Aqsa Guardians) in particular, by detaining, expelling, and imposing fines on them, intending to keep them away from Al-Aqsa Mosque, in the interest of Judaizing it.

Since the occupation of Jerusalem in 1967, the occupation forces have been controlling the keys of the Bab al-Maghariba (Moroccan Gate), and through it, settlers and the occupation forces carry out daily incursions.
