Occupied Jerusalem - Israeli occupation forces have raided the Al-Aqsa Mosque, injured at least 152 Palestinians, and detained over 400 detained in the succeeding violence.

The Islamic Endowment Department in occupied Jerusalem said colonial Israeli forces broke in force into the Al-Aqsa Mosque before dawn on Friday, as thousands of worshipers were gathered for Al-Fajr (early morning) prayer.

Videos circulating online showed Palestinians throwing stones and occupying Israelis firing tear gas and stun grenades, while others showed worshipers fortifying themselves inside the Mosque amid clouds of tear gas.

During the Israeli occupation forces' invasion of Al-Aqsa, and particularly the Qibly prayer hall,  they fired their guns in it, batoned Palestinian worshipers who resisted vehemently, held them hostage, and attacked medics and journalists.

The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that Israeli occupying forces had hindered the arrival of ambulances and paramedics from reaching the Mosque, as Palestinian media said dozens of injured worshipers remained trapped inside the compound.
