The Ezzedeen Al-Qassam Brigades claimed, on Monday evening, its full responsibility for the heroic Salfit operation, which was carried out by two of its mujahideen last Friday night, and considered it a link in a chain of its response to the Israeli occupation’s aggression in Al-Aqsa.

Al-Qassam confirmed in a military statement that this operation came in response to the brutal and cruel aggression of the Zionist occupation against the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers in its courtyards, the consequences of which the Israeli occupation authorities have not thought of.

"This operation comes as part of a series of responses to the desecration and aggression against our sanctities, and it will not be the last, with Allah's help", Al-Qassam added.

The Salfit operation was carried out on April 29, 2022, in the so-called "Ariel" settlement, which resulted in the killing of a Zionist soldier and the injury of another.
