Occupied Jerusalem - Israeli occupation authorities demolished yesterday evening a two-storey house in the town of Beit Safafa, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces, accompanied by military bulldozers, stormed the Al-Safih area in the town of Beit Safafa, and tore down the house of Mohammed Judeh.

The occupation forces also attacked the owner of the house, Muhammad Judeh, and his son, after handcuffing him inside a military vehicle, amid the spread of large numbers of the occupation soldiers in the place.

Widad Joudeh, the wife of the owner of the house, said that the demolition was carried out suddenly, despite the fact that they have a building permit that they obtained after paying exorbitant amounts of fines.

According to OCHA, From April 19 to May 9, the Israeli occupation authorities demolished, and seized/confiscated nine Palestinian-owned structures, some of which Palestinians were forced to self-demolish.
