Update - Israeli occupation military attacks Gaza, kills 49, little children included

Israeli occupation airstrikes on Gaza have killed at least forty-nine Palestinians, including five-year-old children and two senior Islamic Jihad Movement leaders, and wounded dozens of others, local sources said.

On Friday evening, Aug 5, 2022, the Zionist occupation forces carried out large-scale aggression on various locations in the Gaza Strip, killing at least, until this report, eight Palestinians and injuring 311 others, the Palestinian Health Ministry said.

For its part, the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced, this evening, the martyrdom of the senior commander, Tayseer Al-Ja'bari, during an Israeli occupation bombardment of the Gaza Strip.

Video circulating online shows a Palestinian father carrying the body of a five-year-old Palestinian girl who was martyred by Israeli occupation airstrikes on the besieged coastal enclave.

In the same context, Israeli occupation jet fighters bombed an apartment in the center of Gaza City, a car in the Shujaiya neighborhood, resistance observation posts in the east of the Gaza Strip, and a gathering in Khan Yunis.

A blast could be heard in the southern Gaza Strip as Israeli occupation forces attack locations between Rafah and Khan Younus governorates.

Israeli occupation aircraft launched a series of attacks against different locations in Gaza city and a resistance post in the southern Gaza strip to continue its aggression on the besieged enclave.

Many Palestinians were injured as Israeli occupation forces attacked the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood in the eastern Gaza Strip.

On Saturday evening, Aug 6, 2022, Israeli occupation warplanes committed a massacre against Palestinian citizens of Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, killing at least seven, including four children, and injuring more than 15 others.

Jabalia martyrs have been identified as, Hazem Salem, 9, Ahmed Al-Neirab, 11, Mo'men Al-Neirab, 5, Khalil Shbeir, 10. and Khalil Abu-Hamada, 19.

Hours after the Jablia massacre, Israeli occupation authorities bombarded a residential building in Rafah city, killing at least eight Palestinians, including women and children who were pulled out of the rubble, and injuring about thirty other civilians with various injuries.

On Saturday morning, Israeli occupation forces fired shells into locations in Khan Younis in the southern part of the Strip, and other parts of the besieged strip, killing at least five Palestinians, including a little child and a 72-year-old Palestinian woman, and injuring many others who suffered life-threatening wounds.

On Sunday, Aug 7, 2022, Israeli occupation forces continued their attacks against Palestinians as they bombarded Abu-Jaser family house in Jabalia refugee camp, killing the two Palestinians, Dia'a Al-Bura'e and Ahmed Afana, and injuring many.

Additionally, Israeli occupation warplanes target a Palestinian home in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, east of the Gaza Strip, injuring 4 Palestinians.

On Sunday afternoon, Israeli occupation warplanes bombarded Al-Falouja area in the northern Gaza Strip, and killed five Palestinians, including four children.

Moments after, Israeli occupation aircraft fired its missiles at a vehicle in the center of Gaza City, killing three Palestinians, including a policeman.

Half an hour later, Israeli occupation warplanes targeted a Palestinian-owned house belonging to An-Nabahin family, in the Bureij refugee camp in the center of the Gaza Strip, killing a father and his three sons. Of the three sons killed were twins aged thirteen and another child aged nine.

On Monday, Aug 8, 2022, the Palestinian girl, Hanin Abu-Qayda, 10, succumbed to wounds she sustained by Israeli occupation air raids on the town of Beit Hanoun in the northern Gaza Strip instantly killing her mother, Na'ama Abu-Qayda, 62, and critically injuring her.

On Thursday, Aug 11, 2022, the Palestinian girl, Lyan Musleh Al-Sha’er, 11, from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip succumbed to critical wounds she sustained after Israeli occupation warplanes bombarded a location where she and her family were sitting.

Her death brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation missiles and shells during the three-day offensive (August 5, 6, and 7) on Gaza to 49, including one elder, three women, and sixteen children. The number of wounded Palestinians is 360, including 19 elders, 58 women, and 151 children.
