Israeli occupation authorities to tear down Palestinian's home in Jerusalem
September 05, 2022
On Sunday, the Israeli occupation handed a demolition order to a Palestinian in the Al-Isawiya town, in the occupied city of Jerusalem.
According to local sources, a Palestinian, Fadi Obeid, built his home seven months ago to shelter house him and his family but is to be demolished because the Israeli occupation authorities refused to grant him a construction permit.
They also informed him that he must demolish his property at his own expense, otherwise, they would demolish it and impose excessively high fines and fees in addition to the demolition cost.
As the Israeli occupation authorities continue to build and expand illegal colonies, Palestinian communities and towns in occupied Jerusalem and various areas in the occupied West Bank continue to be denied the right to build homes and property.
