Israeli occupation forces flatten two Palestinian homes in occupied Ramallah, Jerusalem

June 07, 2023

Al-Qassam Website - Israeli occupation forces have knocked down two Palestinian homes on Tuesday morning in the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah and occupied Jerusalem, claiming they were constructed without proper licenses.

Local sources reported that an Israeli occupation bulldozer accompanied by Zionist soldiers had broken into the town of al-Mazra'a al-Gharbiya and flattened a Palestinian home, rendering its occupants homeless.

The owner stated that his house was demolished by the Israeli occupation army without any prior notice, mentioning that the construction had taken place more than 20 years ago.

Another home owned by the Totah family in occupied Jerusalem's Wadi al-Joz neighbourhood was also demolished by the Israeli occupation municipality. As a result, eight members of the family were left without a home.

Despite the family's repeated efforts to obtain licenses for their properties, the Israeli occupation authorities (IOA) had previously demolished one house in 2015 and three others in March of last year, all of which belonged to the same family.
