For the 10th time, Israeli occupation extends detention of a child

Wednesday, June 3, 2020 - The Israeli occupation court extended the arrest of the Palestinian child Zaid Ahmad Baajawi (15 years), from the town of Ya`bad, southwest of Jenin, for the tenth time in a row for a period of 3 weeks.

The Prisoner's Information Office said that the occupation forces arrested the child, Bajjawi, on 10/9/2019, after raiding his family's house and destroying its contents, and transferred him to the investigation in Al-Jalameh prison.

The Prisoner's office added that Zaid's' brother Majd Baajawi, is serving a three-year prison sentence in occupation jails as he was arrested on 15/1/2019.

The occupation forces detain approximately 4,800 Palestinians in its prisons; Including 39 women, 180 children and about 700 sick detainees; 300 of them suffer from serious and chronic diseases, in addition to 450 administrative detainees.
