Israeli occupation detains 10 Palestinians in West Bank raid

West Bank - 29 June - Israeli occupation forces detained Monday ten Palestinians, including former detainees, during a pre-dawn arrest campaign throughout the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation troops had detained Awni Fares, a former prisoner from the West Bank town of Silwad in eastern Ramallah, and Amjad al-Rubaie, from Dura al-Qara town east of Ramallah.

Israeli occupation soldiers raided the al-Amari refugee camp in Ramallah and detained Fakhri Hammad and Said Abu Shalbaia after storming and ransacking their homes, the sources added.

During a raid on the West Bank city of Jenin, Israeli occupation forces detained Osama Turkman, 18, brother of Palestinian detainee Mohammed Turkman, and Baha Abu Baker, 25, after breaking into their homes in Ya’bud town. 

Israeli occupation soldiers also arrested Hamada Adawi and Ahmad al-Badawi after storming and ransacking their homes in al-Aroub camp in northern Hebron.

Ahmad Raddad, 23, was also detained in a raid by Israeli occupation forces on his home in Saida town near Tulkarm.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested Adam Shafiq after breaking into his home in al-Issawiya village in occupied Jerusalem and stormed the house of Jihad Badar, a resident of al-Issawiya village.
