West Bank - July 5 - Israeli occupation forces on Saturday fired tear gas at Palestinians during a raid in the West Bank town of Qufin in northern Tulkarm, causing many to suffocate.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation troops had broken into Qufin town and stormed and ransacked the home of Palestinian detainee Majdi Ajouli.
Ajouli, 50, was among the released in the 2011 Wafa al-Ahrar swap deal and was rearrested by the Israeli occupation in 2014 and also given a life sentence.
Meanwhile, a number of Palestinians suffered from breathing difficulties and a child was injured by a rubber-coated steel bullet fired by Israeli occupation forces during a raid into the Bab al-Zawiya area in the West Bank city of Hebron.
Later on Saturday, Israeli occupation troops opened fire at Palestinian workers near the West Bank town of Habla in southern Qalqilia on their way back from the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories.
Witnesses said that Israeli occupation soldiers stationed near the Israeli apartheid wall opened fire at the workers. However, no injuries were reported.
A week ago, the Israeli occupation has allowed thousands of Palestinian labourers to return to their work in the 1948 occupied territories on condition that they do not leave the occupied territories for three weeks.
