Palestinian detainee Mohannad al-Azza, 44, has started an open-ended hunger strike in solidarity with the detainee Khalil Abu Arram, who has also been on a hunger strike for the fourth day in a row to meet his son, held under administrative detention in al-Naqab prison.
In a press release, the Asra Media Office said that al-Azza, sentenced to 13 years in jail, has been imprisoned since 2010 and is currently held in “Gilboa” prison.
The Israeli prison administration refused to respond to the demands of Abu Arram, who is sentenced to life in prison and has been jailed since 2002.
