Several Palestinians abducted by Israeli occupation in West Bank

WEST BANK, October 17 – Israeli occupation forces kidnapped on Saturday a number of Palestinian citizens during a pre-dawn raid in the occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that Israeli occupation troops broke into Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem and fired tear gas and rubber-coated steel bullets at Palestinian citizens in Baten al-Hawa neighbourhood.

Louay Mahmoud was arrested by Israeli occupation soldiers during a separate raid in al-Issawiya town in occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces broke into the Jerusalem villages of Qatanna and al-Ram and raided Palestinian homes and abducted several citizens.

In Hebron, Israeli occupation troops kidnapped Guevara al-Namoura and Akram al-Fasfous after storming and ransacking their houses in Dura town south of the occupied West Bank city.

A report by Hamas’ Information Office in the West Bank documented 1,575 violations committed by the Israeli occupation army and settlers against Palestinian citizens and their lands in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem during September.  

Over the past month, Israeli occupation forces conducted 307 raids into several areas across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, in which they stormed 94 Palestinian homes, according to the report.
