Israeli soldiers assault Palestinian family, detain 7 Palestinians in West Bank

AL-KHALIL, March 17 – The Israeli occupation forces on Thursday morning physically assaulted a Palestinian family during a search-and-arrest campaign in the town of Beit Ummar in the south of the West Bank, as soldiers detained at least seven Palestinians throughout the occupied territories.

Local activist Mohamed Awad said that Israeli forces stormed different areas of Beit Ummar town and physically assaulted Ibrahim Abu Mariya, his wife, and two young daughters.

Awad added that the IOF kidnaped two young men identified as Omar Alkam and Mahmoud Awad from their homes in Beit Ummar and another one called Ameed Jabbareen from al-Khalil city.

The Israeli occupation forces detained at least seven Palestinians from Jenin, Ramallah, Jerusalem, and al-Khalil districts.
