WEST BANK, January 28 – At least 26 Palestinian citizens were abducted by Israeli occupation forces in a large-scale arrest campaign in the occupied West Bank in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation soldiers broke into Al-Jalazone camp in northern Ramallah and kidnapped Mohammed Sharakeh, 29, Mahmoud al-Ghalith, 17, and Mohammed Masarweh, 16, after storming and ransacking their homes.
After raiding their houses in Kafr Nima town west of Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces arrested four ex-detainees, including two brothers.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation troops detained Mohammed Abu Wahdan, whose brother, Ziyad, is imprisoned by the Israeli occupation authorities, after storming and ransacking his house and confiscating some of his properties.
Israeli occupation soldiers, in addition, abducted Rajab Mutir and Ezzeddin Mutir after raiding their houses in Kafr Aqab town north of occupied Jerusalem.
After blowing off the door of his home in Al-Issawiya village east of occupied Jerusalem and brutally attacking his family, Israeli occupation forces kidnapped 11-year-old Mahdi Dari along with Majd Dari, Bilal Mahmoud and Mohammed Muhaisen.
During a raid in Hizma town east of occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation troops arrested four young men.
Mohammed and Yahya Shbeita were both detained by Israeli occupation soldiers in Azzun town in eastern Qalqilya, whereas Arkan Abu Safia was arrested in the nearby village of Kafr Thulth.
In Jenin, Israeli occupation forces abducted Mohammed Zakarneh in Qabatiya town south of Jenin and Omar al-Jabari in a separate raid in Al-Yamun town to the west of the city.
Israeli occupation troops, meanwhile, broke into Al-Dheisheh refugee camp in southern Bethlehem and detained Yousef Arafa.
Fatah official Yasser al-Zamara was arrested by Israeli occupation soldiers in Halhul town to the north of Hebron, while Abdel Qader al-Muraqtan was detained in a separate raid in Tarqumiyah town west of the city.
