The General Authority of Civil Affairs announced that the Israeli occupation forces informed it of its intention to hand over the body of the martyr Shadi Omar Salim Al-Shurafa, from the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank, tomorrow, Tuesday.

"Our crews, accompanied by the Palestinian Red Crescent and the family of the martyr, will receive the body near Coordination and Liaison Unit near the town of Awarta, south of Nablus, to be buried in his town, according to the arrangements of his family and relatives", the authority explained in a statement.

It is noteworthy that Al-Shurafa, 41, a water technician, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces while he was at a water station at the crossroads of the town two weeks ago.

During the past few days, the people of Beita organized several activities calling on the occupation forces to hand over the martyr's body.
