August 10, 2021

Today, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces demolished a two-story building in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, belonging to the two brothers, Ramah and Ali Odeh.

The occupation forces stormed the Bir Ayub neighborhood in Silwan, prevented citizens from being in the vicinity of the building, which houses twelve people, and forced the family to empty its contents, before demolishing it, eyewitnesses reported.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation forces have demolished 689 structures throughout the West Bank and Jerusalem since the beginning of 2020, which is greater than the number that has been demolished since 2016, which led to the displacement of 869 Palestinians.
