West Bank- The Israeli occupation forces launched a detention campaign against several Palestinian citizens, after they raided and searched their homes and tampered with their contents in separate areas of the occupied West Bank, during which confrontations erupted in some areas, at dawn today, Tuesday.
The occupation forces also detained the young man, Saad Kaabi, after raiding and searching his home in the Balata refugee camp, Omar Bani Shamsa from his home in the town of Beita, south Nablus, and Mutasim Hanini after raiding his house in Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
In Jenin, the Israeli occupation forces detained, today, Tuesday, the two brothers, Ahmed and Nafeh Musa, after raiding their homes in the village of "Marka", south of the city, noting that they are both freed prisoners.
In Qalqilya, the Israeli occupation forces detained the 21-year-old Yahya Abdel Salam Salim, after raiding his house in the town of Azzun, east of the city.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed the "Al-Masyun" neighborhood in the city, and detained Islam Zayed (25 years), and Shadi Al-Rifi (30 years), from the city of Al-Bireh. Confrontations erupted, consequently, but no injuries were reported.
In Hebron, the occupation forces detained the young man, Wajih Al-Ra’i, from the “Al-Arroub” refugee camp, north of the city, Muhammad Jabarin, Hani Jabarin, and Ahmed Jabarin, from the town of Sa`ir (northeast of Hebron) and took them after searching their homes and tampering with their contents to an unknown destination.
In the same context, the occupation forces raided the towns of Yatta and Halhul and set up several military checkpoints at the northern and southern entrances to the city of Hebron, and the towns of Halhul and Sa'ir. They stopped and searched the citizens' vehicles, and checked their passengers' cards.
In Bethlehem, the Israeli occupation forces arrested three young men: Shadi al-Qassis from Beit Sahour, and the twin brothers Ahmed and Mahmoud Zarina (30 years), from Beit Jala.
The occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have been witnessing daily arrests, some of them are transferred to administrative detention, following the occupation’s incursions and searches of the homes of Palestinian citizens.
