Detaining the Representatives of the Palestinian People is another Folly Committed by the Occupation, who must Bear the Responsibility

 

The occupation political and military leaders are still shocked, and are carrying out more follies in a vain attempt to cover up the security and military failures exposed by the determination of the Palestinian resistance.

 

In a move exhibiting their shock and loss, occupation forces detained 8 Palestinian Ministers and more than 20 members of the Palestinian Legislative Council from Hamas in the West Bank, in a move that shows total disregard for international norms regarding elected officials.

 

The message we send to the occupation regarding this action is that detaining the leadership of the Palestinian National Authority is in effect undermining the Authority and destroying it. The alternative to the Authority is the intensification of resistance activities and resumption of operations in Zionist cities and population centers. The enemy itself bears the full responsibility of its crimes against our people.  

To the world that employs double standards and is moved to act on behalf of an imprisoned Zionist soldier while remaining silent regarding the destruction of Gaza, this behavior is the rule of the jungle, where the rights of the weak are lost. But with our steadfastness and determination and with the rally of the people around the elected government and the resistance we will overcome the occupier and liberate our land.
