Zionist Israeli Settlers have recently intensified their attacks on Palestinian-owned properties in the occupied West Bank, but these attacks are not on the spur of the moment, but rather of an ideological background supported by the Israeli occupation government.

“The Hilltop Youth” is the name given to one of the settlement groups that is spearheading the attacks and is badly used by the Israeli occupation authorities to implement decisions of annexation and lands’ seizure, and establish settlement outposts.

The Israeli occupation affairs’ specialist, Omar Ja'ara, confirmed that such settlement groups are fully supported, at all levels, by the Israeli occupation entity. 

The “Price Tag” groups, the “Hilltop Youth”, “Kahana Hayy”, and “Homesh Ola”, Settlement groups established only to attack Palestinians and seize their properties, have religious grounds that encourage them to expel Palestinians from their cities and villages, Palestinian official, Ghassan Daghlas, said.

Daghlas confirmed that the "Hilltop Youth" group has intensified its activity as an extension of the "Price Tag" groups, and it believes that the tops of the Palestinian hills should be controlled by settlers, no matter what the cost, and he asserted that more than 70 outposts were built by this group on Palestinian lands.

In turn, the Palestinian anti-settlement activist, Bashar al-Qaryouti, indicated that the “Hilltop Youth” is active in the "Yitzhar" settlement, as well as the "Yesh Kodish" settlement outpost built on Palestinians’ lands, in Nablus.

It should be known that this group was responsible for the killing of three of the al-Dawabshe family. In late July 2015, an arson attack on a family home in the Palestinian village of Duma, in the West Bank, resulted in the killing of three members of the Dawabshe family, the youngest of whom, Ali, was only 18 months old.

The firebombing also caused seven-year-old Ahmed Dawabshe, Ali’s brother, second and third-degree burns across his body, the scars of which he still bears today.

History repeats itself, as if we are facing the “Haganah”, “Stern” and “Irgun” gangs, that used to terrorize, persecute, kill, and commit the most horrific massacres against the Palestinians, driving them away from their homes and towns, seeking refuge in other parts of the world to save their lives. Today, the gang of “Hilltop Youth” is doing the same thing, adopting the same manner in assaulting and killing the Palestinians, and its dearest wish is to see them entirely wiped out.
