WEST BANK, Sept 14 - Twenty-two civilians have been injured yesterday evening by metal bullets and tear gas grenades, during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces that erupted at Huwara checkpoint, south of Nablus.
The Director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center in the Red Crescent Society in Nablus, Ahmed Jibril, stated that the occupation forces injured 4 Palestinians with "metal bullets", and 16 by tear gas canisters. 2 others sustained fractions while the occupation soldiers chased them at the northern entrance to Bethlehem.
The occupation soldiers fired tear gas and sound bombs at the citizens who demonstrated in support of the detainees, as well as towards the homes of citizens in the Al- Azza’ refugee camp. consequently, a number of them suffocated and were treated in the field, local sources reported.
