Occupation forces attack marchers supporting Palestinian detainees

WEST BANK, Sept 16 - The confrontations and nighttime confusion activities against the Israeli occupation forces continue at the Al-Jalama military checkpoint, northeast of Jenin, in light of the frantic military campaign launched by the occupation forces in the Jenin governorate.

Confrontations erupted, yesterday, between the occupation forces and the Palestinian young men who marched in support of the prisoners who had wrested their freedom from Gilboa jail and were captured days after, local sources reported.

The young men threw Molotov cocktails and firework bombs at the checkpoint, and ignited rubber tires, as part of what they called "night confusion activities" in the area.

In the same context, the occupation forces continue the searching operations in the towns and villages of the governorate, and deployed foot soldiers between the olive groves along the apartheid wall in the vicinity of the town of Y’abad and the villages of Rumana and Zabouba, and prevented workers from reaching their workplaces inside occupied Palestine in 1948.

Occupied Palestine has been witnessing a state of outrage after the escalation of the occupation's attacks against detainees in jails.

The city of Jenin and its camp in the northern West Bank recently embraced a joint operations room for the Palestinian resistance factions, to resist the occupation and repel any incursion into the city and its camp.
