WEST BANK & OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, Sept 21 - On Monday evening, separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem witnessed confrontations between the Palestinians and the occupation forces, during which gas bombs and metal bullets were fired.

Confrontations erupted yesterday evening between Palestinian young men and the occupation forces near the northern checkpoint of the city of Qalqilya in the northern West Bank and at the western entrance to Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah as well.

In the town of Silwan, near the occupied city of Jerusalem, the occupation forces stormed in the Bir Ayub neighborhood and fired stun grenades.

Separate areas of the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem have been daily witnessing raids and arrests, punctuated by operations of sabotaging and terrorizing the citizens and the defenseless population.
