WEST BANK, Sept 26 - On Sunday morning, the Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of arrests and raids in separate areas of the West Bank, during which confrontations erupted.
In Jenin, the occupation forces cordoned off the main entrance to Burqin, West Jenin, and deployed reinforcements and sharpshooters.
The occupation forces detained the young man Youssef Muhammad Sobh after he was wounded, the young man Muhammad Abu Al-Hassan (Al-Zaareni), and another unidentified young man after sealing off his house in the town of Burqin.
The occupation forces also detained the Palestinian young man Ahmed Adnan Abed from Kafr Dan, in Jenin, amid violent confrontations in the town.
The occupation forces arrested the two young men, Muhammad Al-Saadi and Ahmed Omar Salah, after raiding and searching their homes in the Jenin refugee camp, and arrested the young man, Alaa Abu Al-Rub, after storming in the town of Qabatiya and raiding his family’s house. Consequently, resistance fighters opened fire towards the Al-Jalama checkpoint, northeast of Jenin,
In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested Muhammad Muayyad Thawabta (20), Qusai Jamal Diriyah (22), and Muhammad Ibrahim Diriyah (18), after raiding and searching their families’ homes.
In Al-Khalil, the occupation forces arrested Faraj Al-Zaro, in the Al-Kasara area, after extremist settlers attacked the family.
The occupation forces stormed in the town of Dura, south of Al-Khalil, and arrested the citizens, Amer Tawfiq Abu Hilal, and Hazem Nader Hlel, after they raided and searched their families’ homes.
The occupation forces also raided the town of As-Samou', south al-Khalil, set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to Al-Dhahiriya and Ziv, south of the city, and searched the citizens' vehicles and checked their identities.
