Large-scale detention campaign in occupied West Bank

WEST BANK, Oct 5 - The Israeli occupation forces detained, at dawn today, Tuesday, 8 Palestinian citizens, in a large-scale campaign of raids in the occupied West Bank, including two journalists.
Among the detainees were the journalist Radhi Karama who was detained after raiding his house in the city of al-Khalil, and the journalist Sameh Manasra who was also detained from his house in Tulkarm, the Prisoners’ Information Office said.
The occupation soldiers detained the leader of the Islamic Jihad movement Louay Al-Ashqar from the town of Sida near Tulkarm, the Palestinian young man Tariq Ashour from al-Khalil, Ahmed Abd Rabbo Al-Halaiqa from the town of Al-Shuyoukh, and the young man Muhammad Abdullah Jaradat from the neighboring town of Sa'ir, the office added.
In the same context, the soldiers detained the freed detainees Youssef Al-Sheikh, 27, from the town of Beit Anan, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, hours after raiding his house and vandalizing its contents, and Alaa Abu Khader, while passing through the Za'tara checkpoint, south of Nablus, noting that he spent a total of 18 years in the occupation jails.
