WEST BANK - The Israeli occupation forces attacked, yesterday, Palestinian civilians in the Bab al-Amoud plaza and Sultan Suleiman Street, during which a Palestinian young man was injured by metal bullets, Oct 17.
The Israeli occupation forces also detained two Palestinian young men near the Bab al-Amud in occupied Jerusalem, Jerusalemite sources said.
In the same context, dozens of Palestinian civilians suffocated after inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces at them while harvesting olive, west of Jenin, local sources reported.
Moreover, the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at dozens of citizens, including students at Al-Quds Open University, while participating, voluntarily, to help the people harvest olives along the apartheid wall built on the citizens' lands in Zabouba, west of occupied Jenin, the sources added.
Additionally, the Israeli occupation forces detained, yesterday, Saturday, two Palestinian young men in the village of Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
Furthermore, the occupation forces detained the two young men, Muhammad Riad Shehadeh and Majd Majdi Abu Helwan, after raiding and searching the homes of their families in the village.
Separate areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have been witnessing daily arrests, that intensify in night hours, sabotaging the contents of and terrorizing the defenseless residents.
