WEST BANK - The Israeli occupation forces detained, at dawn today, several Palestinians, after raiding separate areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, Oct 19.

In the refugee camp of Tulkarm, in the northern West Bank, the occupation forces detained the young man, Ahmed Mutee' Salit.

In Nablus, a large occupying force stormed into the town of Beita, south of the city, and searched some houses, as a result of which, confrontations broke out between the occupation soldiers and dozens of Palestinian young men.

From the town of Rantis, northwest of Ramallah, the occupation forces detained the young man, Fakhr Ahed Khalaf, 35, after 5 military armored vehicles and more than 20 Zionist soldiers cordoned off his family’s house, searched its surroundings, and tried to break its door.

The occupation forces summoned the Palestinian young man, Imad Hamdan Muhammad Hamdan, 32, for interrogation, after they raided and searched his house, local sources reported.

From Qalandia refugee camp, the occupation forces detained the young man, Bassem Zayed, after storming into his family's home, north of occupied Jerusalem. And two other Palestinians were injured by the occupation forces during violent confrontations there.

The occupation forces committed 2,694 violations against Palestinians last September, which increased by 40% compared to September of the previous year 2020, Hamas media office in the West Bank reported. 

The report documented 156 raids of citizens' homes and 315 incursions into various areas in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, during which they detained 363 Palestinians, and the number of checkpoints set up reached 352.

Separate areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem have been witnessing daily arrests, that intensify in night hours, where the occupation forces tamper with the contents of and terrorize the defenseless residents.
