WEST BANK - The Israeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in several cities across the occupied West Bank, Wednesday, Oct 20.
And local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed into the town of Iskaka, north of Salfit, raided a number of houses, and detained the leader of Hamas Sheikh Hussam Harb and his son Zaid, the ex-detainee, Muhammad Abu Omar Harb, Ayman Adnan Harb, Abdul Ghani Harb, and the ex-detainee, Zuhair Hussein.
They also raided the house of the member of the Palestinian Legislative Council, Nasser Abdul Gawad, in the village of Deir Ballut, west of Salfit, the house of the freed detainee, Jihad Shehadeh, in the town of Jama'in, south of Nablus, and warned them not to engage in any national activities.
In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed into the town of Silwad, and detained five Palestinian young men, identified as Muhammad Shaher Hammad, Hamdi Farid Hammad, Muhammad Osama Bseisu, Muhammad Samir Hamed, and Imad Ali Nassar, and transferred them to an unknown destination in large-scale raids on the town, local sources reported.
In al-Khalil, the occupation forces detained three Palestinian citizens and raided some houses. They, additionally, detained the Palestinians Adnan Al-Haymouni, and Nael Al-Qadi after raiding their houses, the Prisoners' Information Office said.
In the town of Deir Samet, west of al-Khalil, the occupation forces detained the young man, Bilal Al-Hroub, after raiding and searching his house.
Separate areas of the West Bank have been witnessing daily arrests, that intensify in night hours, where the occupation forces tamper with the contents of and terrorize the defenseless Palestinian residents.
