Palestinians injured in confrontations with the occupation forces in al-Khalil

Dozens of Palestinians were injured, today, Sunday, during confrontations with the occupation forces, which attacked marchers who took part in a march showing solidarity with the hunger-striking detainees and calling for their release, al-Khalil, October 25.

The participants in the march raised Palestinian flags and pictures of the detained hunger strikers and chanted slogans demanding their release and putting an end to their administrative detention, in support of the detainees against the occupation and the management of its jails.

The marchers reached the northern entrance to the city of al-Khalil, where a large number of the occupation military were deployed who closed the entrance. Consequently, violent confrontations broke out.

The occupation soldiers attacked the march by firing metal bullets and tear gas canisters, who responded to this attack by throwing stones and igniting rubber tires.

Seven Palestinian detainees have been hunger-striking inside the occupation jails rejecting their administrative detention.

The striking detainees are Kayed Fasfoos, (for 102 days), Miqdad al-Qawasmi, (for 96 days), Shadi Abu-Akr (for 62 days), Ayyad al-Hraimi ( for 33 days), Alaa al-Araj, (for 96 days), and Hisham Abu Hawash, (for 69 days).
