16 Palestinians detained in IOF West Bank raids

WEST BANK - The occupation forces detained, today, 16 Palestinian citizens from the occupied West Bank after a massive detention campaign, Wednesday, October 27.

The Prisoners' Information Office said that the occupation forces raided the house of the detainee, Yaqoub Qadri Gawadra, in the town of Bir al-Basha, west of occupied Jenin, and started searching its surroundings. Then they detained a number of young men, including Gawadra’s brother, Muhammad, Marwan Muhammad Gawadra, Ahmed Ali Gawadra, Sami Muhammad Gawadra, Laith Hamza Gawadra, Haitham Faiq Gawadra, Muhannad Fayek Gawadra, and Ragheb Imad Gawadra.

In the city of al-Khalil, Zionist soldiers raided the house of the detainee Muhammad al-Qawasmi and detained his son Suhaib as well as the young man, Muhyi al-Din al-Sharawneh, son of the ex-detainee, Ayman al-Sharawneh, after raiding his home in Dura, south of al-Khalil. Furthermore, the Palestinian young men, Hazem Al-Sharawneh, and Muntaser Youssef Abu Ayyash were also detained from the town of Beit Ummar in the north of the city.

In the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, they also detained the two young men, Moamen Shalo and Karim Omran, and the two boys, Yazan Sabah and Ibrahim Sabah were also detained, after storming into their homes in the town of Taqu`, east of Bethlehem.
