The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" confirmed that the full apology to the Palestinian people for the ominous Balfour Declaration is by the return of the Palestinians who were forced to flee their land in 1948 back home, compensation for what they suffered, and support for their right to freedom and independence.

Hamas stressed, in a statement today, Tuesday, November 2, on the 104th anniversary of the ominous Balfour Declaration, that “the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homelands, from which they were forcedly expelled, is a dead legal right which is guaranteed by international laws, and it can neither be ceded nor can it be compromised.”

“Resistance, in all its forms, popular and armed, will remain a legitimate option that has shown its usefulness, and we will not surrender until we restore our lands the occupation forces usurped, and wipe the occupation entity off the map," Hamas confirmed.

Hamas went on saying, "104 years have passed since the crime perpetrated by the British government against the Palestinian people when its then-foreign secretary, Arthur Balfour, announced his government’s promise to establish a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine; a promise from those who did not own to those who did not deserve and since that day on, the tragedy of the Palestinian people by their land being seized, and by them being displaced and slaughtered continues.”

Hamas continued, “Our Palestinian people have affirmed throughout history, despite many bloody and painful episodes, and many unwise decisions, and international conspiracies, that they are deeply attached to their Palestine, and that they have and will continue to sacrifice for their freedom and independence, and that they cannot, under any circumstances, give up an atom of dust from it.” 

Hamas stressed its relentless pursuit of national unity as a strategic necessity that requires all components of the Palestinian people to work for it, to build a strategy of steadfastness and resistance against the occupation that resulted from Balfour’s ominous promise."

Hamas saluted the Palestinian people of Jerusalem, Gaza, the West Bank, the 48th, the diaspora, for their steadfastness and resistance and their response to all conspiracies and schemes, and called on the Arab and Islamic nation to support Jerusalem and its issues at this very sensitive stage.
