Palestinians detained in large-scale detention campaigns

West Bank - The Israeli occupation forces detained, last night and at dawn today, a number of Palestinians, during raids and search operations in separate areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

In Ramallah, they detained the two young men, Abed Othman Safi, 28, and Issa Safi, 28, from Al-Jalazun refugee camp, north of Ramallah.

Additionally, they detained the Palestinian citizen, Yousef Samed Hammad, from Silwad town, northeast of Ramallah, raided a residential building in Beituniya town, and detained two citizens whose identities have not yet been identified.

And local sources reported that the occupation forces detained the freed detainee, Moataz Wahdan, from the village of Rantis, west of Ramallah.

Furthermore, the occupation forces detained the young man, Shamikh Hashash, from Balata refugee camp in Nablus, after raiding and searching his house and tampering with its contents.

Moreover, the occupation forces raided the city of Tulkarem and detained the freed detainee, Hussein Hilmi Abu Shanab, from his house in the eastern neighborhood of the city.

In Bethlehem, the occupation forces stormed the village of Jannatah, east of the city, detained Suleiman Faisal Al-Arouj, 26, and raided the house of Ibrahim Abdullah Issa Al-Arouj.

In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces detained the freed prisoner, Muhammad Hussein Rabei, from the town of Beit Anan, raided the house of, Ahmed Bakr Rabie, and summoned him for interrogation.

The periodic report issued by the Hamas media office in the West Bank documented that the occupation authorities perpetrated 2,124 violations against the Palestinians during October, most notably the killing of the martyr Amjad Abu Sultan in Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank.

Furthermore, 406 Palestinian citizens were injured in 148 shooting attacks by the occupation forces and settlers, and 103 diverse attacks by settlers.

The report documented 365 incursions by the occupation forces into separate areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, during which they detained 455 Palestinians, while the number of checkpoints, flying and fixed, erected reached 310.
