Israeli occupying forces shot dead a Palestinian citizen, yesterday evening, while driving through a military checkpoint, on the pretext of trying to carry out a car-ramming attack near the town of Ya’bad, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Local sources reported that the martyr, identified as, Hikmat Abdul Aziz Musa, 22, passed through a military checkpoint near the settlement of "Mavo Dotan", southwest of occupied Jenin, and the Zionist soldiers carried out summary execution of him when his vehicle caught fire.

The sources added that the occupation soldiers sealed off the town of Ya’bad, and prevented paramedics from approaching the martyr.
