Palestinians injured in fierce confrontations with Israeli occupying forces in Burqa

Israeli occupation forces injured, with live ammunition, yesterday evening, Saturday, three Palestinians, during violent confrontations that erupted at the entrance to Burqa village, north of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Ahmed Jibril, director of the Emergency and Ambulance Center in the Red Crescent in Nablus, said that the ambulance crews dealt with 10 injuries with live bullets, one of whom was seriously injured, during the confrontations in Burqa, and 48 injuries with metal bullets, in addition to 185 cases of suffocation with tear gas.

Ghassan Daghlas, the official who monitors the settlement project in the northern occupied West Bank, confirmed that the occupation forces sealed off the main entrance to Burqa, amid fierce confrontations with Palestinian that broke out to resist a march called for by settlers starting from the site of the evacuated "Homash" settlement.

The entrance to the town of Bazaria has also been witnessing confrontations with the occupation forces in an attempt to stop the settlers' march, Daghlas added.

In the same context, freedom fighters targeted the occupation forces with live bullets directly in Burqa. Meanwhile, residents of the town saluted the fighters and the al-Qassam supreme military commander, Muhammad al-Deif.
