Confrontations erupted yesterday evening, Saturday, between Palestinian freedom fighters and the Israeli occupation forces at the entrance to the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Dozens of valiant young men gathered at the entrance to Beita, and set fire to rubber tires, as part of the night confusion activities that have been in the town since the middle of the year in protests against the establishment of the "Avitar" settlement outpost.
Local sources said that members of the confusion units also hurled Molotov cocktails at the occupation patrols stationed in the vicinity of Jabal Sabih, which is threatened by settlement expansion.
Earlier yesterday evening, the occupation forces attacked the sit-in tents set up by activists in the Karm Nimr area in Jabal Sabih and destroyed their contents.
