Palestinians detained in West Bank, Jerusalem detention campaigns

January 02, 2022

The Israeli occupation forces raided several areas in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, and detained some Palestinians.

In the early hours of Sunday, the occupation forces stormed the house of Imad Khalil al-Amour in the town of Tekoa in Bethlehem, and summoned his son, the ex-detainee, Khalil, for interrogation.

Additionally, they raided the Aqbat Jaber refugee camp in Jericho, in the east of the occupied West Bank, just to spread terror to the local residents.

Late at night, the occupation forces detained Ali Sabri Abu Diab, a resident of Silwan town in occupied Jerusalem, while he was in the French Hill area.

In the same context, Israeli occupation forces stormed Jenin, and, consequently, confrontations broke out between the occupiers and the Palestinians, near the roundabout of Anza village, and at the entrance to the village of Sanur, during which a number of Palestinian young men suffocated due to the heavy firing of gas bombs by the occupation forces.
