Israeli occupation authorities demolish Palestinian-owned house in Tubas

January 30, 2022

The Israeli occupation forces demolished, this morning, an under-construction Palestinian-owned house east of Tubas, north of the occupied West Bank, on the pretext of lacking a building permit.

Local sources reported that an Israeli occupying military force raided the village of "Aqaba" in the northern Jordan Valley, and began demolishing the house of Ibrahim Talib, claiming that it was built without a permit.

Talib had submitted a request to the Israeli occupation authorities to get a license, but they rejected it, claiming that it was built in an area classified as "C", the sources added.

Under the Oslo Accords, the occupied West Bank is divided into three non-contiguous areas, called Area A, Area B, and Area C.
