Israeli occupation forces injured three young Palestinian men and suffocated dozens of others on Wednesday, during confrontations that broke out after the funeral of the Palestinian martyr, Ammar Abu Afifa, from Al-Aroub refugee camp, north of al-Khalil.

Several areas in the camp witnessed violent confrontations, during which the Israeli occupation forces extensively fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at young men and citizens' homes, causing dozens of suffocation cases, including journalists.

The Palestinian Civil Affairs Authority reported the killing of the young man, Ammar Shafiq Abu Afifa, from Al-Aroub camp in Al-Khalil, in the southern West Bank by Israeli occupying soldiers near Beit Fajjar town.
