The Israeli occupation forces detained, this early morning, a number of citizens of the occupied  West Bank and Jerusalem, including freed detainees.

In Al-Khalil, the occupation forces detained the ex-detainees, Sufyan Jamjoum and Jaafar Al-Qawasmi, and Ali Muhammad Ali Al-Hajj, after raiding and searching their homes.

In Bethlehem, Israeli occupation soldiers detained Issa Zarina and Muhammad Ja'ara from Aida refugee camp.

In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli invading forces detained the young man, Muhammad Jamal Qawasmi, brother of the Palestinian martyr, Shadi Al-Qawasmi, 19, who was shot dead by Israeli occupation forces near Bab Al-Asbat, in occupied Jerusalem, after allegedly carrying out a stabbing attack, injuring two of the colonial soldiers stationed there

Israeli occupation authorities occupied and annexed the eastern part of Jerusalem in 1967, in contravention of international law. Most countries consider East Jerusalem occupied territory and do not recognise Israeli sovereignty or illegal settlements there.
