Dozens of Palestinian civilians were injured and suffocated during confrontations that broke out on Saturday evening between Israeli occupation forces and the residents of Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya, following the launch of an anti-settlement march in the village.

And local sources reported that violent confrontations arose, during which the occupation soldiers fired metal bullets at the citizens, wounding two boys, one in the head and the other in the hand.

The sources added that the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at houses, as a result of which dozens of civilians, including women and children, suffocated, while another 10-year-old child was injured in the hand after being beaten up by the occupation soldiers.
Since the beginning of July 2011, Kafr Qaddoum has witnessed every Friday and Saturday marches demanding the opening of the village street, which was closed by the occupation forces during the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2003.
