Israeli occupation forces detained sixteen civilians from the occupied West Bank, including a leader of the Hamas movement and a number of children.
Local sources said that the occupation forces raided the town of Beitunia, west of Ramallah, and detained a leader of Hamas, Khaled Abu Al-Baha, after blowing up the door of his house. They also detained the freed detainee, Sufian Al-Miqdadi, from the city of Al-Bireh, and Baha Al-Rimawi from the Al-Massif neighborhood in Ramallah.
In Jenin, the invading soldiers detained the young man, Muhammad Fouad Zayoud, from the town of Al-Saila Al-Harithiya, and the young man, Siraj Mahamid, from the Nour Shams refugee camp, and the young man, Fadi Abu Ayyash, from the town of Beit Ummar, north of Al-Khalil.
In the town of Azzun, east of Qalqilya, the soldiers launched a campaign of detentions that targeted a number of boys and their parents.
The Israeli occupation forces have recently intensified, during their daily detention campaigns in the occupied West Bank, the policy of "Oppressing the families of the detainees", by detaining children with their parents after storming their homes in the middle of the night or in the early hours of dawn, with the aim of sowing terror and fear among defenseless Palestinians.
