West Bank - A Palestinian youth succumbed to injuries he sustained last week, during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces, in the northern occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that the young man, Ahmed Hikmat Seif, 23, passed away of a serious injury he sustained after being shot by the occupation soldiers, during confrontations that broke out, at the entrance to the village of Burqa, north of Nablus.
The sources added that the occupation soldiers, at that time, ambushed Palestinian youths, and opened fire at them at a point-blank range, seriously wounding Seif with live ammunition, until he was pronounced dead on Wednesday early morning.
It is noteworthy that the village of "Burqa" and its neighboring villages have been subjected almost on a daily basis to attacks and incursions of Israeli occupation soldiers and settlers, who are trying to return to the evacuated "Homash" settlement.
