April 06, 2022

A report revealed that 34 Palestinians have been martyred by the Israeli occupation authorities in various areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, during the first quarter of this year 2022.

The report issued by the National Assembly of the Palestinian Martyrs' Families showed yesterday, Tuesday, that five of the martyrs are children under the age of 18.

The bloodiest month was last March during which half the 34 martyrs fell, which confirms that the terrorism of the Israeli occupation is on the rise against the Palestinian people, the report indicated.

Furthermore, the report added that among the martyrs who fell due to the occupation’s attacks were 30 from the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, and 4 from the 1948-occupied territories, the youngest of whom was the child Muhammad Rizk Salah, 14, from the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem, who was martyred on February 23, 2022.

The report indicated that the oldest martyrs were Omar Abdul Majeed Asaad, 80, from the Ramallah governorate, and Suleiman Al-Hathlin, 80, from the village of Umm Al-Khair, in the Al-Khalil governorate in the occupied West Bank.
