The Ministry of Health announced the death of the young man, Fawaz Ahmed Saleh Hamayel, from the town of Beita, south of Nablus, in the northern occupied West Bank.

Hamayel was shot in the chest by the Israeli occupation forces during violent confrontations in the town of Beita yesterday morning, Wednesday, and was subsequently transferred to a local hospital where he underwent several surgeries to save his life before he was pronounced dead.
The Israeli occupation authorities have stepped up raids and detentions across the occupied West Bank during which dozens have been martyred and hundreds of others injured.
