Palestinian medical sources announced the death of a Palestinian girl who was critically injured by Israeli occupation forces invading the occupied West Bank city of Jenin last week.

The sources added that the Palestinian female student, Hanan Mahmoud Khaddour, 18, had visited the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin to attend a class when the Israeli occupation forces stormed the neighborhood. Meanwhile, confrontations erupted during which she was critically injured by Israeli occupation live fire.

The occupied West Bank and Jerusalem have witnessed increasing tension in recent weeks, with a significant increase in the number of martyrs, detentions, and incursions by the Israeli occupation forces.
