Israeli Settlers have uprooted dozens of olive trees in the town of Azmot, east of Nablus in the northern occupied West Bank, witnesses said.
Farmer Murad Amer reported that he was surprised on Sunday morning when he arrived at his farmland in the northern region, that the settlers had wreaked havoc on his land, uprooting and destroying about 30 olive trees.
Amer explained that he began reclaiming his land two years ago and planting it with olive trees, but the Israeli occupation authorities prevented him 6 months ago from reaching that area.
Villages east of Nablus are subjected to repeated attacks by colonial settlers of the "Elon Moreh" settlement, which is located on the lands of Azmot, Salem, and Deir al-Hatab.
