Israeli occupying forces shot dead a Palestinian youth and injured in varying degrees three others this early morning in clashes that erupted after the former had invaded the Jenin refugee camp in the north of the occupied West Bank.

Palestine's Ministry of Health said that the young man, Ahmed Massad, 18, from the Jenin refugee camp, has succumbed to critical wounds sustained by the Israeli occupation forces during the storming of the camp.

Furthermore, 3 civilians were wounded by Israeli occupation gunfire, among them a case described as "serious", and were transferred to a local hospital in Jenin.

Violent clashes erupted between the Israeli occupation forces and resistance fighters, and explosions were heard in the place, according to local sources.

Since the beginning of this year, the number of Palestinian martyrs shot by the Israeli occupation forces, Massad included, has increased by 50, including 4 from the occupied Palestinian interior, while 21 martyrs have risen since the beginning of this April.
