Israeli occupation forces detain 16 Palestinian citizens in large-scale raids

The Israeli occupation forces detained, at dawn today, 16 Palestinians from separate areas of the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Local sources said that the occupation forces raided the house of the detainee, Jamal Abu Al-Haija, detained his son, the ex-detainee, Asim, and detained Yazan Marei during the storming of the Jenin refugee camp.

Additionally, the invading forces detained the liberated detainee, Yasser Hanaysha, who was released three months ago after spending 10 years in jail, and Ali and Yasser Abu Al-Rub after raiding their home in the town of Qabatiya in occupied Jenin.

Consequently, armed clashes erupted with the occupation forces during their storming of the camp and the town during which the Palestinian youth, Ahmed Massad, was martyred and three others injured, according to the same sources.

From Nablus, the occupation forces detained the two young men, Ammar and Baraa Hamayel, after raiding their families' house and destroying its contents.

From occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli occupying forces detained Yazan Hamdan Mahmoud, Ismail Sinokrot, Muhammad Sheikh Ali, and Issam Rayan.
