The young Palestinian man identified as, Walid Sharif, 24, was critically injured in the confrontations that arose on the third Friday of Ramadan in Al-Aqsa squares.

Al-Sharif was directly hit with a sponge-tipped bullet in the head by Israeli occupying forces, which caused bleeding in the brain and fractures in the bones of the skull, detained despite his critical injury, and subjected to deliberate medical negligence as he was cut off from oxygen 28 minutes after his detention.
