Israeli occupation forces detained more than 50 young Jerusalemite men during confrontations that erupted in occupied Jerusalem, following the former's attack against the funeral procession of the martyr Walid Al-Sharif.

The Asra Media Office said that the occupation forces launched a large-scale detention raid that targeted mourners of Al-Sharif in the Mujahideen Cemetery, Salah El-Din Street, and Bab Al-Sahera.

The Office added that the detained were all attacked and abused by the occupying forces, and their detention was extended for varying periods to be interrogated.
